A few words on the Snow at Pomerelle Mountain Resort

Pomerelle Mountain Resort has no detail snow data, but has a good snow reputation in Idaho. Snow was abundant at Pomerelle during a personal visit when other southern Idaho areas were hurting for snow. Pomerelle's market niche is for families and ski instruction. Much of the terrain is too flat to ski in deep snow.

Accumulation and Preservation

There is no question that early season accumulation is excellent at Pomerelle, assisted by the gentle terrain and 8,000 - 9,000 foot altitude. The altitude also assists snow preservation, so melt/freeze conditions are uncommon until March.
