A few words on the Snow at Bogus Basin

Bogus Basin averages 246 inches snowfall. It is an expansive area with good powder terrain, but with easy access for the local Boise season passholders.

Accumulation and Preservation

Bogus has minimal snowmaking so full operation can be greatly delayed in low snow years. It's about 40% north facing, with a range of exposures to follow the sun on warm days. Bogus Basin is most reliable in February/March for maximum coverage.
